Living Purpose

We all have a multi-faceted living purpose, not just one giant thing that is a singular life purpose. I call it a “living” purpose for the reason that it is alive, evolving us, growing us. It is our energetic DNA.

Our Living Purpose

Overview

We all have a multi-faceted living purpose, not just one giant thing that is a singular life purpose.  I call it a “living” purpose for the reason that it is alive, evolving us, growing us.  It is our energetic DNA.

It is now known with our DNA that we can chose to express or not express different aspects of our DNA.  This is referred to as up-regulating and down-regulating in the expansive field of epigenetics.

With our living purpose, once we know it we can choose to express different parts of it.  We don’t have to express every aspect of our living purpose.

Entelechy

And our living purpose is very much a unique potential within each of us, called an entelechy.  Entelechy is a vital principle that guides the development and functioning of an organism, system or organization.  Entelechy is a blueprint that can be fully expressed and realized.

Entelechy examples:  entelechy of an acorn is an oak tree; entelechy of a caterpillar is a butterfly; entelechy of a tadpole is a frog.

How Aligning With Our Living Purpose Shows Up In Life

  • Lights us up — excited to get out of bed to engage the day
  • Brings profound life meaning
  • Fulfills us deeply
  • Feel our sense of life direction, rarely feeling lost
  • Contributes to a strong inner compass that we can rely on to make better life choices
  • Fewer regrets, and greater willingness to explore, try new things and say YES to adventures
  • Less desire to control as life falls more into place
  • More synchronicities, and being in the right place at the right time
  • Feel that you are your own person

I offer a path through courses, group and one-on-one guidance, articles and ongoing support that guides you into an intimate knowing of your living purpose, and educates and trains you with the skills needed to explore and express  your living purpose throughout your life.

What Is The Biggest Challenge In Uncovering One’s Living Purpose?

When a person feels their aliveness — which is part of the process of uncovering living purpose — they encounter their resistance to feeling alive they have felt and compiled over their lifetime.

In other words, for someone to uncover their purpose, they must wake up, become alive — and face their resistance in that expanding aliveness!

Uncovering one’s living purpose is very hard because people make it hard.  People resist life.  They squirm against life.  They try to wiggle out from underneath life.

Living Purpose Becomes a Wellspring

Knowing and expressing our living purpose becomes a wellspring for making better life choices.  Over time, following our living purpose guides us to create and build a legacy that makes a big difference to our communities, loved ones and even society.

Once you know your living purpose, why you are here and what you are here to do goes from being a question to a living life adventure.  We stop wondering who we are, because we are too busy surprising ourselves with who we are becoming — what our entelechy is guiding us to metamorphose into.

We Must Integrate Our Living Purpose

You have to actively work with your living purpose.  Knowing it doesn’t automatically have it show up in your life, though some does just knowing it.

The return of investment of pursuing our passions and bliss is immediate and huge.  My clients consistently reported very measurable benefits within a week of choosing to engage in passions vs. whatever they were routinely doing.  They felt new excitement and energy, and became more focused just by working in some of their passions.

Does Our Living Purpose Change?

Not that much, as the main aspects of our living purpose have a deep consistency, feel, and theme that runs throughout our lives.  Again, our living purpose is our energetic DNA.

We don’t have to express every aspect of our living purpose.  Throughout our lives, I have watched some past clients focus more on some of the other aspects of their living purpose years later.

Living Purpose – Part Passion & Bliss

Core Passions

Our core passions are about what excites us, what is just fun, interesting and full of passion for us.  Very little is built by following just our core passions, but we have so much fun and adventure.  This is what lights us up.  We tend to have 8-25 of these.

Here are some examples from past participants:

  • traveling
  • cooking
  • rollercoasters
  • petting kitties/dogs
  • scuba
  • driving fast
  • reading fantasy books
  • camping
  • eating at Michelin starred restaurants

Our Living Purpose Is Part Passions, Part Bliss

Our living purpose is comprised of two aspects of our psyche and soul — our core passions and our bliss.

Cross Over Between Passions & Bliss

Of course passions and bliss do cross over.  Some of our bliss items contain several passions.  What is different is that again, a bliss item takes consistent effort over time.  And some passions have aspects of our bliss.

Living Purpose Is A Union Of Passion & Bliss

Our living purpose comes together as a union of both our passions and bliss — childlike play in life, with the deep meaning and fulfillment of creating and building things for us and those around us.

I have watched dozens of clients go from being “stuck” in the rat race, not enjoying their lives to becoming a person with passion, feeling that they have a new lease on life, huge direction, excitement, and some of their past challenges or problems drop away as they expressed their passion and bliss.

What I offer in educating and training on Living Purpose, each participant/client gains a strong foundation of how to bring special meaning and fulfillment to their lives, a solid compass of where to course correct, and greater inner authority.

Bliss

The other aspect of life purpose is found in what we want to build, grow and leave as a legacy.  This happens over time with a focused effort.  We tend to have 5-15 of these bliss items, which form what I call a bliss list.

Our bliss list items do evolve more than our core passions, but that is because as we create, we often give ourselves permission to dream bigger, and take on a more expansive creation.

Here are some examples from past participants:

  • Open Respectful Relationship with Dad
  • Make a Contribution to people’s lives
  • Outstanding Mental and Physical Health
  • Helping Others Celebrate their Joy
  • Financial Comfort

Work With Me – Future Possibilities

Work With Me One-on-One To Uncover Your Living Purpose

You can work with me to uncover your living purpose.  I give you my 50 page course workbook, assign you questions to explore and answer, and we meet a few times over the phone to go through the process of uncovering.

The BLISS part of the process is what I facilitate – a unique 3 hour process.

Future Webinar

I am rolling out my information and courses as quickly as I can.  I will offer this education and training as a webinar at first. In time I can “duplicate” my facilitation with video and audio files to offer an evergreen course.

However, the BLISS part of the course is a facilitated 3 hour experience.  Also there is one part that I don’t know of another way yet to offer without my involvement, as there is an amazing aspect where I bring together the core passions and bliss items for a person and create a picture of what an expressed living purpose would look like and feel.  I record this, as this becomes an inspiration and huge stepping stone for an individual to go about living their living purpose.

Every client that I have done this with has been brought to tears of joy, as they feel the wonder and power of who they are and what they came here to do.
