OUR LAST GATHERING BEFORE BRAIN SURGERY on July 8th
My beloved wife (Talyaa) and I attended our last community gathering yesterday on July 4th – a housewarming party for Dave Booda and Paula Padma – such beautiful people and friends. Thank you for your invitation!
We rarely get out as our health challenges are so hard and limiting. However, my wife temporarily felt better as she decided to take steroids 3 days ago to reduce the massive swelling of her brain (even though this makes a difference, it also suppresses the immune system – not good). I felt so much joy in seeing her feel relatively good for one of the few times in the past 9 months. AND to connect with friends felt so special.
SUPERPOWERS COMING?
I reflected on how my soulmate may be quite different from that party because of her upcoming brain surgery. I don’t know what changes may be coming – perhaps a magical acquisition of enhanced sensory perception, or personality shifts – which are distinct possibilities. I also glimpsed the horrific possibility that Talyaa may not ever feel better, or lose brain function, or worse…
I chose to focus on the best part of the night – how I got to feel my beloved at my side the entire gathering! OMG – the joy, pleasure and deep love I feel in just touching her is divine. I continue to drop into deeper levels of intimacy and love with my greatest gift ever – Talyaa Tamsen Liera – my SUPERMATE!
